Founded in 1992, Orpheus Books has established a reputation for creating some of the most imaginative and best illustrated children's non-fiction books in the current co-edition market. We pride ourselves on the high standard of our products and believe that many of our books will be treasured by children in the home for years to come.

Producing our books for the international co-editions market means that most of our titles have been published in several different languages all over the world, including all major European languages, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Arabic and others. Our current list encompasses a wide range of subjects for children aged 3-12 years. Although our books are best-known for their unique concepts and use of die-cuts, flaps and fold-outs, we also produce top-quality atlases and encyclopedias suitable for use in schools and libraries as well as in the home.
